I am a wood carver, and I have always been intrigued by the process of carving, and I have learned so much from this hobby. I have been carving a lot of different things, from simple to ornate, making them look like something they are not. Whether it is a simple carving of a tree or a complicated carving of a door, I carve something and share my work with the public, and that is pretty cool.
I am not a wood carver, but I have had the opportunity to work with wood at my job. I have carved items from wood, doors, windows, walls, and ceilings, and I have even carved furniture.
I have done a lot of carving with wood and my favorite thing to do is to carve furniture. Most of my furniture pieces are done with a solid wood frame. I can’t seem to get it right, and after a lot of trial and error I decided to go with a veneer wood. It took me about a month to do everything and I am still learning.

The truth is, we don’t even need a hammer to carve a tree. A simple carving tool like a mallet is just as effective as a chainsaw or even a drill. The biggest difference is that with a mallet, you can actually start on a tree trunk and not worry about what you’re cutting. You are just carving away, and it’s not all that hard at all. You can find a good tree with a mallet anywhere.
