When going to the wood store, you want to buy the best for your budget. I know that I am going to get a wooden stool, but I am just not sure if it will be the perfect size for me. This is the first wooden step stool I purchased when I was in college. I love the look of the stool. It is sturdy, doesn’t have any marks, and is comfortable to sit on.

Stands are really just a very sturdy type of chair, but they are built to be slightly wider than most other types of chairs, so that they will not tip over. You can use a stand, or you can use a regular stool, but I think that even a stool with a stand would be better than none at all.

I have found great deals on ebay on many things. In this case, the stand was less than $5. I love that ebay.com has a lot of great stuff and is willing to ship them.
I have not tried to use a wood stool, but I have tried using the stool on a hard surface and it does not work at all. You might try a wooden stool if you can.
