I love to use wood flooring as a floor for my home, for it’s comfort and warmth. I love the look and feel of wood in my home, and I am able to create a space that works for me, yet is comfortable to my family. I like to use solid hardwood such as oak, cherry, maple, etc.
Most of the time, I get asked what to do with wood floors. The answer I am given is that you should stain them, and then refinish them. I really hate the term “stain”. I prefer “finish” because it better describes what I am trying to accomplish. I have been using stain for a long time and I truly believe that it is the most effective flooring product you can buy.
