The best part about this trailer is that the developers are going to show us a bunch of nice sketches of the finished piece. I mean, you cant just stop at a headboard and claim a piece of art. This is the kind of art that you have to show people, and I mean, even if it is just a headboard, I would like it to be something special.
The art is coming soon, but I did want to add a little tease with a really cool carving that I made. Just like this picture, there is a lot more going on here. You can see the headboard in all its glory and then look how it is being carved into the wood. I wanted to show you guys that even though pieces of wood get a lot of attention and love, they also get a lot of work.
The reason that we can’t finish this image is because it’s too large. It’s been nearly a year since we’ve finished it. I think you’ll find that it’s not only in the original artwork but also in the video clip. You can see the headboard right in the original artwork, as well as the one in the video. The rest is just a bit of work that we actually have to go through to get to the final result.
