My friends, I am officially declaring that this project is a one-week DIY. This is because I used some of the best materials available and I only used the supplies recommended here. It is also because I am a perfectionist and I like to make everything perfect before I start. Yes, I know this sounds ridiculous, but that is the way I do it. And I like to be very, very organized.
Of course, I’m not a perfectionist. I’m just a very, very organized person that likes to make stuff as perfect as I possibly can. I’m actually not even sure if I’ve made all the instructions necessary for this project, but I am very, very glad I did. I’m pretty sure I will only need to do another one this weekend.

This is one of those projects that can take a long time to complete. Many DIYer’s have started out by attempting to make their own wooden letters with a simple piece of wood, but often times the wood is not quite the right size, and they end up with something that doesn’t look as sharp as they would have hoped. The wooden letters that you can see below are made with a small piece of 1/4″ plywood (about 1/2″ thick).
Well, we took on this project because we feel that it can be a good stepping stone to building a more advanced wooden letter. You can use the same method here but just use a different width of plywood. You can also add a few more letters by using a router with a chisel instead of a blade. The advantage is you dont need any fancy tools to complete this project, but the downside is that you will need to buy a chisel.
When the project was finished, we found out that the wood was painted with a paintbrush that had some color-scratchers on the back and on the sides. This is a pretty awesome tool for building a strong wooden letter.
What’s cool about these letters is that they are made from wood. Of course, it would be a little embarrassing to show a simple wooden letter like this to our relatives and friends, but here it is anyway.
It’s also nice to see a few of the pictures of the letter. I hope they have a better look. I don’t think it’s because I was pretty sure this was a new project but I did think it was a good idea.
I think this is a great idea, but I don’t think it’s a good idea. I don’t think anyone will use it regularly because it looks so awkward. It’s not like they will be going around the house all day with it and using it to write letters and make memos. I have no idea where this will end up. I think it’s going to end up on a bulletin board. I think we’ll see it on a wooden wall or a wall decoration.
