The reason you’re not going to have to worry about electrocutions from electrocuted wood is that it has a very high resistance to electric shocks. It might even be the case that it’s a good conductor of electricity, but it’s not very good.
So why is it that wood is so dangerous to your skin? Its a good conductor of electricity, and wood burns easily. It also is a good insulator, and is very hard to shock. Wood is also very heavy, and if you’re an experienced woodworker you know that very heavy objects will be difficult to move.

A lot of times we forget to use plastic wrap because it seems so easy to forget. But the truth is that we use it a lot, and it is a very good thing. If we don’t use it, we can just sit and stare at our furniture, not realizing that we’re sitting on a very hot piece of wood.
