It’s been a while since we’ve been in touch with the outdoors, but I recently had the pleasure of visiting a few wonderful backwoods spots in South Carolina. On one of them, there are tall, thick, black-oak trees that look as if they’ve been dead for 30 years. They’re covered in ivy and surrounded by a thick layer of leaves and branches.

It’s a very interesting story, so I thought I’d share it with the world.

I know that weve all seen pics of the mighty oak trees that live in the backwoods and that their branches are loaded with ivy. But have you ever thought of the tree its self? The way this tree is a living organism and that its branches are constantly growing and growing. In fact, its branches can grow so large that they can reach the size of a person.

I found this piece of information on Wikipedia and thought Id share it with you. Apparently, the tree is called fat backwood or fatwood, but its real name is the Great Oak, an oak that is twice the size of any other oak in the world and can grow to the size of a bus or a house. Its a tree that is almost twice as tall as a person, and if the branches are grown at the top, you can get as tall as a person.

This is an incredible tree, and if it grows in your back yard, it will be the envy of all your neighbors. It will be the envy of all your friends too. It is also a tree that will grow to the size of a man, and if that happens, you can get as tall as a man.
