I haven’t done so much quilting in a while, I think I have put in just a little more than I remember. I also find myself putting more time into my current projects, which includes some of my most creative and fun projects. This past month has been a bit easier for me to get back to a pattern-based quilting routine.

I am still a little way off, but my quilting patterns have been pretty consistent for the last six months or so. I started with a simple and simple one-string quilt. I then progressed to a long quilt that was really fun and was a bit of a game. I also did a quilt for a friend that was fun once I’d realized that the quilt had to be an 8” x 8” that had an even number of rows.

I started quilting with the long quilt the same way I started with the one-string one. I made a quilt that was pretty simple. I started with a long 8 x 8 that was all the same fabric. Then I went back and forth, adding and subtracting rows till it ended up being a long 8 x 8 that was all different fabrics.
