I built these slat wood panel with a slat of wood as part of my woodworking skills as well as my passion for the arts of architecture. They were a favorite of a friend that was building a small house and I was able to use them for a design element in the interior of her home. I wanted to incorporate the traditional wood element of the slat into her small house, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it.
I wanted to show some of the things I’ve discovered about slats and how they work. I wanted to make things that looked like they were made of wood so I wanted to show other things just to see some of the things I’ve learned.
Ive seen some of those wooden slat panels at local home centers and they were some of the most impressive things I have seen. They are made of metal, as it were, which is a nice touch for them. They are made into boxes and some of the boxes are made into a chair. I think the way they are shaped makes them look like just a plank of wood, but the way they are made is more like a piece of furniture.
I hope you enjoy this wood panel. It is the first piece of wood I’ve ever used on anything so I am excited to see what else it can do.
The rest of the trailers are great and I really enjoyed reading all the trailers’ content and seeing them all play out in different ways. I hope they all take some of the themes away from The Last Guardian, but they also show how much the players have learned while doing this, so I hope everyone will like it.
Slat wood panels are a great idea. They have the ability to be used in a variety of ways, and the fact that they are so light and easy to use makes them a great addition to any project. I think they would be nice in a game too.

The slatwood panels are the “new art” in Slatwood (which is to say, the last of the “new” art in Slatwood) and they’re supposed to be used as a kind of “interactive” element in the game. They’ll be used to add extra dimension to various stages and to make some of the buildings look more interesting.
