The white kitchen with dark wood floors does not sit well with me. It is in my opinion far too neutral. My kitchen and dining room have a warm, floral feel to them that I am not crazy about. I am also not a big fan of dark wood. The light wood color looks too much like the wood itself.
I don’t think I could ever live with that color combination. I think I would be the last person to use it. For a neutral look I would go with a lighter color like a mustard or avocado. It doesn’t have to be a neutral, but having neutral color in your kitchen is very important because it shows that you are not afraid of a dark room.
