I love my wood bath tub, and I love the fact that I get to use it every single day. However, I know that it is important for me to make this bathtub look like it was built in the 19th century. To that end, I’ve been making some of my favorite bathtub patterns from the late 1800s, and it is definitely helping me to get the look and feel that I want.

I think the wood bath tub is one of those things that when you go to the store, you can just go to the big box stores, and their bathroom hardware is always beautiful. Then you go to Home Depot or Lowe’s you can find whatever bathroom hardware you need and they’ll get you so much better stuff than you can get anywhere else.
This particular wood bathtub contains a large amount of natural water—just as I would want to have my own bath as a baby. The water is made from a very basic water-waste-free clay that is then polished off with a few of my favorite metals from the Middle East. It’s an excellent choice for any bathtub lover, because it’s so water-free and looks as if it would make a great bathtub, too.
