This bench is my most favorite wood thing to use. The reason is that I can use it for many things including a space for my work projects, a seat on my couch, or a spot to sit and watch TV. This also provides a focal point for my painting, which is one of the most fun things I do. A wooden bench can be your own personal painting canvas.

I can’t speak to the value of having a specific focal point, but a bench is one of those things that can be just as useful as a painting. You can use a bench to store anything from your laptop to your books to your plants. As long as your bench has the right dimensions, you should be able to find something that will work for the space you have, without overcomplicating things.

Having a bench doesn’t mean you have to set it out in a corner, but I’d have to say that a bench is one of the most versatile pieces of furniture in your home.
