If you are looking for a traditional way to incorporate a tree into your home decor, wood turned ornaments are the way to go. As I mentioned in the “Home Decor” post, I have a collection of ornaments that I have hand-turned from wood, tin, and other materials.
You can also add a few different ornaments to your tree. Some of my favorites are the ones with the big glassy green eyes, the one with the starfish on the trunk, and the one with the pink flower on the top.
I don’t think I’ve ever been to a tree that’s been decorated the way I have with ornaments from my hand-crafted ornaments. You can find some of my most recent hand-made ornaments near the top of the Home Decor post.
The same as above, hand-crafted ornaments have a bit of a reputation for being a bit creepy. But, I know that because I’ve seen a few of my ornaments get tossed out by other artists at home. My favorite from this batch was a hand-dipped, resin-filled ornaments that I did to celebrate my birthday a few weeks ago in my apartment. I can never tell you exactly why I do it, but I just do.
Ornaments were a Christmas gift from my sister that I received in the mail a few years ago, and they were a bit of a disaster. They looked beautiful from afar, but when I sat down to put them together they looked like my head had exploded. Needless to say, I’ve never cared for them. The second I laid them down, however, I knew that I had to make one or make them disappear, preferably by a fire.
Now, ornaments are not a common sight in our house. They are, however, a pretty common sight in the apartment we live in. My brother and I share a bedroom because our parents are out of town so often, and we like to play with and decorate ornaments on either of our beds. But we just never seem to have the time.
The same goes for wood. It looks like a fire ornaments, but nobody knows for sure. A fire is one of the most common things in our house that nobody ever uses. It’s a type of wood that was burned as a fire. It’s almost like we’re stuck in a time loop.
It’s a time loop. When you burn wood, it’s a fire and when you burn wood, it’s a fire and when you burn wood, it’s a fire but I think it is a fire. Its a time loop and it is a fire.
Ornaments are a great example of how our brains are affected by lack of self-awareness. They aren’t really meant to be thrown anywhere and seen. They are merely something we use to decorate our house. Its a way for us to project a certain image of ourselves to the people we do things for. Its a way to say, “Hey, look, I’m not just a decoration. I’m actually pretty cool.
We all have our own ideas of what an ornament should be. For instance, I feel that a really nice ornament should be able to stand on its own as a stand alone object. It should also be able to be hung in a nice home, no matter what it looks like. That is, unless of course it is an ornament for a bed or a lamp. In that case, I feel it should be a piece of wood that can be easily removed from the wall.
