Some wood was cut into smaller pieces and the pieces were then sanded and smoothed to the right size. You can also see that the wood has been carefully sanded to leave a nice smooth finish.
Now to really get to the point, wood does not go bad. You can always buy new wood, but the best thing you can do is make sure that your wood is good quality. The best way to do that is to buy solid wood at a reputable lumber yard. That makes it cheaper and it will last longer. Another great way to avoid using up wood is to always have a few boxes of old wood stored at home.
Even with these items, the game looks good.
